For the last nine years, Denver Post Media has partnered with Energage, an HR and culture technology specialist, to create a comprehensive list of the best small, midsize, and large companies to work for in the State of Colorado. The list highlights companies with the highest employee engagement (employee satisfaction), commitment rates (average tenure), and return on investment (benefits associated with investing in employees) in comparison to the information in Energage's database. Workplaces featured in the Denver Post’s Top Workplaces award list rank 48% higher than average companies in engagement, 43% higher in commitment, and have a 55% higher return on investment, according to Energage’s program overview.
To determine the top workplaces, Denver Post media and Energage conduct a survey on topics like engagement, workplace practices, and the work-life balance that employees can achieve within their company. To date, 19 million employees and 57,000 organizations have been surveyed.
Earning this award is no small feat – a company must first be acknowledged by an employee as a potential candidate and they must fill out a nomination form. Additionally, a survey is issued to the rest of the company’s employees and a minimum of 50 employees must participate to ensure that an accurate pool of data is being considered. From there, the Denver Post Top Workplaces team reviews the surveys and selects its winners.
As a tech startup, being featured in this list is a recognition that not only speaks to our company values and culture, but also to the commitment each of our employees makes to maintaining a workplace that's safe, open, fun, and productive. This year is CyberGRX’s first year as both a nominee and winner and although this year’s ceremony looked different than previous years, we are honored to be recognized in this year’s virtual event.
