Meet Avital Ben-Naim, People and Office Coordinator
by CyberGRX
We at CyberGRX think it's important to put faces behind the names you may encounter in your interactions with us. We always strive to provide a personalized experience for our customers, and what better way to do that than give you a behind the scenes glimpse into our worlds?
Each month we sit down and chat with a team member about what makes them tick and how they landed here at CyberGRX. This month we get to know Avital Ben-Naim, People and Office Coordinator!
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Monument, CO which is just north of Colorado Springs. I’m technically not a Colorado native but I have lived here since I was 10 so I consider myself an honorary native 🙂.
What brought you to CyberGRX?
I had been laid off at the beginning of the pandemic and found a temporary job in the meantime, but was always looking to get back to a People Ops role at a smaller startup company. I saw an open position for a People and Office Coordinator here at CyberGRX, and it aligned with everything I was looking for in a job and in the company culture as well. Meeting the team sealed the deal for me!
What do you do at CyberGRX/what’s your typical day like?
On a day-to-day basis I plan events, assist with new hire onboarding, employee experience, and help with our recruiting efforts. When we return to an office, I’ll be involved with the office operations and facilities management aspects as well. I get to wear many hats in my role, which I really enjoy.
What advice would you give to your teenage self?
I know it’s cliché, but I would tell my teenage self to have fun and not care too much about what other people think. And that even though you might think you know everything, there's still a lot of learning and growing up to do.
What was your most memorable travel experience?
My most memorable travel experience was when I went to Israel on my Birthright trip in the summer of 2017. I went with two of my cousins, and we had the time of our lives. Israel is one of my favorite places and it’s always a blast every time I visit.
What’s your hidden superpower?
Always having room for dessert!
