Get to Know CyberGRX: Meet Jack Hewitt

by Liesl Geier

Meet Jack, Product Specialist / Business Development

Where did you grow up?

I was born in Kansas City, but grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis, MN.  Yes, it is cold there in the winter, but make sure to plan a trip for the Lakes in the summer… they will not disappoint.

What brought you to CyberGRX?

To be honest a couple of different things.  My Fiancé and I were living/working in Minneapolis when she received a job offer to work in Broomfield, CO; which brought us to Denver in July 2017.  From that point on CyberGRX was my goal.  I reached out to Scott Schneider directly, and 3 weeks later the rest is history.  Since my start in July, I can honestly say this has been the most rewarding experience of my career.

What do you do at CyberGRX/what’s your typical day like?

My day starts around 6am with a walk to the office, and I take advantage of that time to organize my day.  My primary focus from day to day is business development for our Sales team.  This includes: finding the right people to talk to within organizations, developing new strategies with marketing, conducting discovery calls with potential new clients, and managing our inbound sales requests.  Outside of that, I monitor our website chat feature daily, provide comedic relief in the sales lab when I can, and stay updated on all things TPRM.

What advice would you give to your teenage self?

If I could give myself some advice it would be to expand your interests as a teen. As a teenager, my focus seemed to be strictly on school and athletics.  Athletics helped me get to a lot of places I never imagined, but I now realize there was a lot more to experience.

What’s your favorite thing about Denver?

My favorite thing about Denver is the location and weather.  The mountains being a “quick” drive down I-70 means I can ski all winter and hike/camp/bike all summer.  I also have to say the people that live here are great, with a very big melting pot mentality, but you will get the occasional “local” that isn’t as sold on the development of the city.

What’s your hidden super power?

My ability to find positives in any situation. Big believer in the fact that you cannot control everything that happens in life, and you will go crazy if you try to.
