Animation: SolarGate & the SolarWinds Breach

A series of breaches began in Dec 2020, when hackers compromised an IT management software from SolarWinds called Orion. The Orion software platform contained malicious code that created a backdoor entry into customers’ Supply Chain infrastructure. This breach impacted an estimated 18,000 customers, leaving them exposed to unprecedented third-party cyber threats.
