The Cyber Info Exchange, a cybersecurity podcast hosted by Dave Stapleton and Shane Hasert, takes a deep dive into all things cybersecurity and features Q+A discussions with guests from all walks of the industry. At 30 minutes, the goal of each monthly episode is to reach out to the cybersecurity community – everyone from entry level cyber analysts to security engineers and CISOs – providing valuable, tangible ideas and information that you can implement as soon as you get back to your desk.

Dave Stapleton, Chief Information Security Officer at CyberGRX
David Stapleton is a cybersecurity risk professional with over a decade of experience in both the public and private sectors. David began his career at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) where he developed and managed Risk & Compliance functions for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Indian Health Service (IHS). During his time as a federal employee David also contributed to the design and implementation of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). David is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). When he’s not actively engaged in cybersecurity and risk management activities you can often find David wandering the backcountry of Colorado, staying as “unplugged” as possible.
Shane Hasert, Director of Assessment Operations at CyberGRX
Shane Hasert is a cybersecurity risk professional with nearly 30 years of experience in consulting, risk management / mitigation, and 15 years dedicated specifically to third-party risk management and IT auditing. Shane served 13 years as an Air Force intelligence asset and followed his military service and consulting to the military with positions leading security offerings for CDI – IT Solutions, as an account security & privacy officer for HP-ESS, and as a senior professor at DeVry University and Keller Graduate School of Management. Most recently, Shane served as the AVP of Business Compliance at Radian Group leading the corporate vendor security assessment program and supporting the customer due diligence response process by providing security and data privacy protection information to customers. Shane is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC), Certified Third-Party Risk Assessor (CTPRA) and a Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP). When not at work, Shane and his family are active members of the American Legion and its programs.
